Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group (SSG) has delivered three newbuild SPP17A platform supply vessels (PSV) to Mexican shipowner Naviera Petrolera Integral.

All were built at Zhejiang Shipyard and were designed by Shanghai Design Associates under SSG’s supervision, tailored to the client’s requirements. They will work in the Gulf of Mexico for PEMEX.

The vessels each have an overall length of 61.8 m (203 ft), a breadth of 14 m (46 ft), a depth of 5.8 m (19 ft), a deadweight of 1,700 metric tons (1,874 tons), and a design draft of 4.3 m (14 ft). They can accommodate 24 crew members.

Other features include two sets of steerable thrusters on the stern and optimized dimensions for the bow and hull lines to allow a larger deadweight and improved fuel economy.
