Eni has signed a production-sharing contract with the Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos of Mexico (CNH) for the Amoca, Miztón, and Tecoalli oil fields in the Bay of Campeche.

All are in “Area1” close to shore, in water depths of 20-40 m (65.6-131 ft). Eni won the rights to develop the fields following an international tender.

CNH estimates the combined in-place reserves at around 800 MMbbl of oil and 480 bcf of associated gas.

Eni plans to drill four new delineation wells on the fields, leading to a fasttrack collective development.
